FEVER-TREE
We start with the idea that, if ¾ of your drink is the mixer, then you should use the best. We work with only the best naturally sourced ingredients from around the world and no artificial flavourings or sweeteners to create mixers that do justice to the world's finest spirits.

CITRUS TONIC WATER
A citrus blend of tangerine, bitter orange and lime balanced with the gentle bitterness of quinine. These flavours have been carefully selected to balance out the sweet & peppery notes of Patrón Silver Tequila to create a delicious, refreshing long drink.

TASTE
By using a variety of citrus fruits, we have created a complex yet delicious tonic water that combines sweetness with a fresh zestiness. Mexican key limes from the Colima and Michoacan region lend a delicate piney edge that balances the rich, fruity flavour of the tangerines we source from the coastal groves of Veracruz.

KEY INGREDIENTS
We've chosen four distinct Mexican citrus fruits to make this tonic water. From the region of Colima and Michoacan, we've found two types of lime: a piney and fruity Mexican key lime and a richer and more tangy Tahitian lime. From Veracruz, we use sweet and juicy tangerines and, from the Yucatan province, we source bitter orange that we use in each of our tonic waters to give a sharp, zesty freshness.

BITTER ORANGE
Citrus aurantium

MEXICO

The bitter orange oils in our range of tonic waters come from a co-operative of small specialist citrus farmers in the Yucatan Peninsula, Mexico. The bitter oranges are grown using Ancient Mayan farming techniques, which revolve around the lunar cycle. The sap is at its highest during the new moon, and farmers await this single day to graft young orange plants on to existing rootstock, creating bountiful new trees. Then it’s another three years before they bear the fruit from which we extract the finest orange oils.

MEXICAN KEY LIME
Citrus aurantifolia

MEXICO

To prevent scurvy during the 19th century, British sailors were issued a daily allowance of citrus, such as lemon, and later switched to lime. The use of citrus was initially a closely guarded military secret, as scurvy was a common scourge of various national navies, and the ability to remain at sea for lengthy periods without contracting the disorder was a huge benefit for the military. The British sailor thus acquired the nickname, “Limey” because of their usage of limes. Mexican Key Limes are incredibly juicy and sharply acidic; they afford a wonderful fruity and piney flavour to our products.
